There has been much talk lately about the cost of dying, and with Dying Matters Week approaching (1-7 September), it is timely to shine the spotlight on the many issues facing people at the end of life.

This is particularly important for our Pacific Island peoples. Pacific families can get caught in a web of debt from funeral costs, when they are struggling to deal with deep grief, and sometimes don’t have the knowledge about how they can do things differently.
