Jade Whaley
Timaru + South Canterbury
Facing the end of life -whether it’s your own or someone you love - can feel overwhelming and deeply emotional. It’s completely normal to feel uncertain, want to avoid difficult conversations, or be unsure of where to begin.
I’m Jade, a death doula, funeral celebrant, and transition coach based in Timaru, South Canterbury. My role is to create a safe and supportive space for you and your whānau, offering care, connection, and gentle guidance, whether you’re planning ahead, needing bedside support, or creating a meaningful farewell.
I aim to bring comfort and calm, so you and your loved ones feel supported and truly heard.
How I Can Support You (in person or online)
Death Doula: Guidance and presence before, during, and after death; including home vigils, blessings, and rituals. Support with appointments or treatment.
Celebrant: Memorials, funerals, community events, and living funerals.
Planning + Documenting: Advance care planning, advocacy, and guidance in organising important documents.
Workshops, Talks + Death Cafe: Safe, supportive spaces for honest conversations.
Coaching: Guidance through transition and change.
Holistic Services: Meditation, Reiki, and grief circles.
Every journey is unique. My support is always shaped around your needs. No matter where you are on this path, planning ahead, newly diagnosed, actively dying, or supporting someone you care about, I’m here to help.
Every family’s path is unique. My approach is about listening and empowering you to make choices that feel right for you. Together, we create space for peace, meaning, and connection.
I provide kind, inclusive, non-judgmental care for everyone, regardless of their culture, religion, beliefs, identity, or life experiences.
Whether you’re preparing for the future, saying goodbye, or simply wishing to start a conversation about death and dying, I’m here to help with kindness, care, and an open heart.
