My passion lies in helping create a peaceful and connected pathway towards death — one grounded in compassion, dignity, choice, and the relationships that matter most.
I believe that every person deserves to approach the end of life feeling supported, respected, and emotionally connected, not only to those around them, but also to themselves, their values, their stories, and the life they have lived. I work from the understanding that dying is not something to be feared or
hidden away, but a profound human experience that can hold meaning, healing, connection, and even moments of beauty.
I support individuals and families to navigate the emotional, spiritual, practical, and relational aspects of end-of-life care in ways that feel authentic and aligned with their wishes. This may include creating space for important conversations, supporting legacy work, helping families remain informed and connected, advocating for a person’s choices, or simply offering calm and compassionate presence during uncertain times.
I value honesty, tenderness, and the importance of meeting people exactly where they are. Every dying experience is unique, and I honour the diverse cultural, spiritual, and personal beliefs that shape how people approach death and grieving.
My hope is to help create spaces where death can be approached with less fear and isolation, and with more connection, understanding, tenderness, and humanity — for both the person who is dying and the people who love them.
I am based in the Waitaki Valley.
